Click here for more excursion options. Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru After breakfast and check out, proceed to Lake Nakuru exploring the dramatic Rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is one of the gems in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for its great masses of pink flamingos; opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog, and Hippo etc. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp (All Meals) Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Check out after breakfast and traverse the Rift Valley and ascend its western rim into the Masai land. Red-clad with spears, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Arrive for check in and lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. This is Kenya’s most famous reserve, and in your afternoon game drive you will have the opportunity to seek out the “Big Five” Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Cape Buffalo, and all other species which have made this reserve so famous. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (All Meals) Day 4: Masai Mara National Game Reserve Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Apart from the seasonal great migration (Months: July, August and September) game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes :- buffalo, wildebeest, burchell’s zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, prides of lions, leopard, giraffe, elephant cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much more. All meals and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (All Meals) Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi - Depart Pre-breakfast game drive then return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi game drive en-route to arrive in time for lunch at The Carnivore Restaurant.
